For our first spotlight, we want to highlight Andrauss; he is a NextGen consultant who has been working as an RF Engineer. Originally from Mexico City, Andrauss will soon be moving to North Carolina to start his new NextGen contract.
Joseph, Andrauss’s NextGen Recruiter, typically fills engineering roles such as RF and OSP Engineering, which are in Andrauss’ wheelhouse. Over the past few years, Andrauss and Joseph have built a strong working relationship. When asked about their relationship, Joseph said, “Andrauss is always positive and honest about potential jobs, so we are able to make sure he has the best experience during interviews. We keep in touch regularly and communicate almost weekly. The managers for the positions he’s interviewed for always have positive things to say about Andrauss. I am so happy we found him a new role that perfectly align with his skills and career goals!”
We got in touch with Andrauss to ask him about his experience working with NextGen and to learn a bit more about him. Here is what he had to say:
Q: What was it like working with NextGen during your job hunt?
A: Getting a job through NextGen was a simple process because I maintained a relationship with my Recruiter, Joseph. He made the entire process easy by always keeping in constant communication with me, checking in on me, and encouraging me to keep moving forward when times were tough.
Q: What, in your opinion, sets NextGen apart from other staffing agencies?
A: The main reason NextGen was different from other staffing agencies was because of my relationship with Joseph. As I mentioned before, he made sure to reach out to me and keep in contact. We were both on the same page when it came to finding me a job that was the right fit. He was so respectful and kept track of every one of my job applications. I never felt forgotten.
Q: What was the best part about working with NextGen throughout the hiring process?
A: I was prepared for each interview and had been given the best tips to do so from Joseph. After being approved by the client, I received the offer letter very quickly.
Q: If you could give advice to someone seeking a job in your field, what would it be?
A: Make sure to always keep in touch with your recruiter, ask for specific feedback and the status of your job applications.
Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself.
A: I consider myself a self-learner. I always try to find out the answers to my questions by reading and researching myself. I also enjoy learning from people who are more experienced than me.
Q: What do you do in your free time?
A: I am an active member of my community. I volunteer and enjoy being able to serve the people of my community. I used to play soccer once a week, but with my current move, I haven’t been able to play as much as I’d like to.
