This is a 6-month contract for a Project Manager, preference is for the candidate to be onsite in Bellevue, WA but the HM is open to considering non-local candidates in which case the role will be 100% remote for.

What you will be doing as the Project Manager:

  • Manage all aspects of small to intermediate projects throughout the development lifecycle, including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs and change. Work closely with stakeholders and to define project parameters, then translate customer needs into formal requirements, using knowledge of the industry and delivery methodology.
  • Develop detailed project schedule, resource plan, and status reports, managing task assignment to project resources and reporting on and managing project scope throughout the lifecycle Interface with all areas affected by the project, including end user, services organizations, vendors and implementations partners.
  • Review project deliverables for accuracy, and apprise management of risks, issues, and recommended mitigations. Ensure satisfactory transfer of custody and control of product upon handoff, then close all project documentation and archive appropriate records
  • Creates and drives project status reporting and meetings as communication and management tools to ensure project health and to provide transparency to risks and issues that require stakeholder support and action.
  • Proactively identifies potential risks to the project and puts in place mitigation plans with team’s input.
  • Creates a project schedule through defining needed activities, sequencing, resourcing, estimation of durations and resources; validates schedule with team. Uses appropriately as a communication and management tool with key stakeholders to ensure project stays on schedule, making needed adjustments to address project exceptions.
  • Works with knowledge and project team input to accurately define Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and scope definition to provide a common understanding of the project.
  • Uses planning, estimating and controlling skills to prevent scope creep. 

What you will bring to the table as the Project Manager:

  • Bachelor degree or higher level education plus a minimum of 3 years' experience in new project device launches within the telecom industry
  • Must meet onsite requirements
  • Must have previous product go-to-market experience
